[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 16일부터 오는 10월 14일까지 양주시는 관내 아동을 비롯한 시민들이 직접 참여하는 온라인 토론회에 참여할 참가자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이는 지난 8월 실시 예정이던 시민참여 원탁토론회가 코로나19 확산 여파로 연기됨에 따라 추진 일정을 재정비해 토론에 참여할 참가자를 추가로 모집하기 위한 것이라고 했다. 

‘아동과 함께 성장하는 아동친화도시, 양주’를 주제로 개최하는 이번 토론회는 아동실태조사에서 도출된 의제를 중심으로 다양한 의견을 수렴할 수 있는 토론의 장을 마련, 아동권리 증진을 위한 시민 공감대를 형성하고 아동친화도시 조성을 위한 기본방향 설정과 중장기 추진계획 수립에 반영하고자 기획했다고 했다.

양주시에 거주하거나 관내 소재 학교에 재학 중인 초등학교 4학년에서 고등학교 3학년까지 학생과 학부모, 교육기관 관계자, 아동관련 시설 종사자라면 누구나 참여할 수 있으며 학생 50명, 성인 20명 등 총 70명을 모집한다고 전했다.

온라인 토론은 놀이와 여가, 참여와 시민의식, 안전과 보호, 보건과 사회서비스, 교육환경, 가정환경 등 아동친화도 6개 영역으로 나눠 모둠을 구성해 진행하게 된다고 했다.

원활한 토의 진행을 위해 팀 구성원들에게 질문을 던지고 의견을 이끌어내며 피드백을 제공하는 전문 퍼실리테이터를 모둠별로 1명씩 배치해 운영할 계획이라고 했다.

시민참여 온라인 토론회는 오는 10월 23일 오후 2시부터 4시까지 온라인 화상회의 플랫폼 ‘ZOOM’을 통해 비대면으로 진행되며, 참여를 희망하는 시민은 1365 자원봉사 포털에서 온라인 접수하거나 양주시 홈페이지 내 등록화면에서 신청하면 된다고 했다.

선발결과는 오는 10월 14일 최종 선정된 시민에 한해 문자로 개별 통보할 예정이며, 기타 자세한 사항은 양주시 여성보육과 아동복지팀으로 문의하면 안내받을 수 있다고 전했다.
