[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 청소년이 제안한 ‘증강현실로 만나는 언택트 실내 운동 플랫폼 기기 도입’ 사업을 추진했다고 밝혔다.

이 사업은 포천청소년문화의집 청소년운영위원회 ‘포커스’ 소속 청소년들이 포천시 청소년정책제안 발표대회 및 포천시 주민참여예산제에서 제안한 것으로 코로나19 장기화로 청소년들의 체육활동 시간이 감소한 것에서 아이디어를 얻었다고 했다.

시는 이를 적극 수용해 청소년교육문화센터와 청소년문화의집에 각각 2대의 언택트 실내 운동 플랫폼 기기를 도입했다.

언택트 실내 운동 플랫폼 기기는 증강현실 기술을 이용해 피트니스 트레이닝, 브레인 트레이닝, 아케이드 게임 형식의 신체활동 게임 등 60여 개의 다양한 컨텐츠로 구성되어 있다. 

신체활동을 실내에서 더 안전하게, 더 간편하게, 더 재미나게 즐길 수 있어 청소년시설을 이용하는 청소년 및 주민들에게 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.

시 관계자는 “청소년의 의견을 수렴하고 적극적으로 반영한 결과 언택트 실내 운동 플랫폼 기기를 도입하게 됐다. 청소년 또한 시민의 한 사람으로서 자긍심을 가지고 활기차게 자라길 바란다.”고 전했다.
