공로패 수여 대상자는 재임 기간동안 헌신적인 노력과 열정을 다한 뒤 이임하는 이·통장들로 포천시정 발전에 기여한 공로를 인정받았으며, 특히 지난 3년간 ASF, 코로나19 등 국가적인 재난 위기 속에서 초동 조치를 위한 적극적인 협조와 포천시 재난지원금의 접수 홍보 및 독려, 마스크 제작 및 기부 활동, 백신 접종 행정 지원 등 여러 위기 극복에 큰 도움을 주었다고 했다.

박윤국 시장은 “재난 상황 속에서도 이·통장님들의 도움을 바탕으로 위기를 슬기롭게 극복할 수 있었다.”면서, “현직에서 물러나시더라도 우리 시의 발전을 위해 변함없이 뜨거운 관심과 협조를 부탁드린다.”라고 전했다.
