[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 3일 상면행정복지센터는 퇴임 이장에게 감사의 마음을 담은 감사패를, 신임 이장에게는 축하의 의미를 더한 임명장을 수여하는 자리를 가졌다고 밝혔다.

수여된 감사패는 지난 임기 동안 마을발전을 위해 끊임없이 노력하고 주민복지에 헌신한 노고에 감사드리는 마음을 담았으며, 앞으로 3년의 임기를 시작하는 신임 이장들에게는 마을 대표로서의 임무와 역할 등 당부와 함께 축하의 의미를 전달했다고 했다.

이날 상면은 14개 마을 중 연하1리, 항사리, 행현1리, 행현2리, 원흥리 등 총 5개 마을의 이장이 바뀌었고, 임기를 마치거나 새롭게 시작하는 이장을 포함하여 모든 마을의 이장과 참석자들이 신년을 맞아 서로 간 새해 인사와 덕담을 나누는 등 훈훈한 시간을 가졌다고 했다.

위선경 상면장은 “행정의 최일선에서 항상 애써주시는 이장님들의 노고에 감사드리며, 앞으로도 소통과 화합을 통해 상면 발전에 더욱 더 힘써 주시기 바란다.”라고 당부했다.

서승우 상면이장협의회장은 “신임 이장들을 비롯하여 마을 이장들 모두 한마음 한뜻으로 마을 화합에 힘써서 주민과 행정의 가교역할을 함은 물론 각종 지역 현안 해결에도 앞장서겠다.”라고 다짐했다.
