[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 홍천군이 농어업인 수당 및 농업인 코로나19 재난지원금으로 농가당 최대 100만원을 지급한다고 밝혔다.

농어업인 코로나19 재난지원금 지급은 강원도 내에서 홍천이 처음이며 8월 16일부터 농어업인 수당 및 농어업인 코로나19 재난지원금을 주소지 읍·면 행정복지센터에서 홍천사랑카드 또는 홍천사랑상품권으로 동시에 지급한다.

농어업인 수당은 7,932농가에 70만원씩 55억 5,000만원, 농어업인 재난지원금은 6,936농가에 30만원씩 20억 8,000만원으로 총 지급액은 76억 3,000만원이다.

신영재 홍천군수는 “농촌일력 부족 및 농자재 가격 상승으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 농어업인들에게 조금이나마 도움이 됐으면 한다”며 “특히 강원도에서는 처음으로 장기화 된 코로나19 상황에 따른 농어민의 어려움을 함께 나누고자 농어업인 재난지원금도 추가로 지급하게 됐다”고 말했다.

한편 홍천군은 민선 8기 농업 분야 공약으로 ▲농자재 구입비용 50% 지원 확대 ▲농촌 노동력의 원활한 확보를 위한 계절근로자 도입 확대 ▲농산물 유통 전문조직 신설 등 농산물 생산과 유통뿐 아니라 농촌의 정주여건 개선을 통한 특화마을 조성 등 다양한 미래 지향적 농업정책을 추진하고 있다.
