[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 오는 12월 1일~내년 3월 말까지 겨울철 유해야생동물 피해방지 및 ASF확산 차단을 위해 집중포획단을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 집중포획단은 겨울철 야생멧돼지를 집중 수색 및 포획하여 서식밀도 저감과 아프리카돼지열병을 차단하고 ▶인명 ▶농작물 ▶분묘 피해를 최소화를 위해 운영되된다.

모집대상은 수렵면허를 소지하고 동해시에 주소지를 둔 모범 수렵인 중 총기소지 허가 또는 수렵면허를 (재)취득한 후 5년 이상 경과한 자 등 유해조수 대리포획 자격기준을 갖춘 자이다.

자세한 자격기준은 동해시청 환경과로 문의하면 되며, 집중포획단 활동을 원하는 자는 오는 18일(금)까지 환경과로 방문접수 하면 된다.

동해시 관계자는 “2022년 동절기 유해야생동물 피해신고를 최소화할 수 있도록 집중포획단 운영에 만전을 기할 예정”이라고 전했다.
