[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 17일 포천시는 금호건설(주) 군내면 구읍리 공동주택 신축공사 현장에서 중부지방고용노동청 의정부지청, 대한산업안전협회와 건설현장 산업재해 예방을 위한 합동 캠페인을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 캠페인은 포천시와 중부지방고용노동청 의정부지청이 지난 10월 26일 상호 체결한 ‘포천시 산업재해 예방을 위한 업무협약(MOU)’의 일환으로 포천시, 중부지방고용노동청 의정부지청, 한국산업안전보건공단 경기북부지사, 대한산업안전협회 경기북부지회가 합동캠페인을 실시해 산재예방 분위기 확산을 도모하기 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

이날 합동 캠페인에는 박윤국 시장, 공석원 중부지방고용노동청 의정부지청장, 이종현 대한산업안전협회 경기북부 지회장이 참석하여 건설현장의 외부 비계 안정성 여부, 작업발판 및 안전난간 설치여부 등 추락사고의 위험이 높은 작업을 중심으로 안전관리 실태를 직접 확인하고 안전관리자와 안전문화 정착을 위한 현장의 목소리를 청취했다고 전했다. 

박윤국 시장은 “건설현장에서 무관심, 무책임, 무기력 등 3無 현상이 사고를 유발한다.”라며 “한순간의 방심이 대형사고로 이어지므로 철저한 안전교육과 긴장의 끈을 놓지 않도록 각별히 주의를 해 줄 것”을 당부했다.
