[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 3일부터 오는 11일까지 포천시는 ‘토석채취 및 산지전용허가지 현장 안전점검’을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

지난 1월 29일 양주 채석단지 내 사망사고 등 안전사고가 발생 됨에 따라 안전사고가 발생 할 수 있는 토석채취 및 산지전용허가지 현장의 안전사고 예방을 위한 현장 점검을 중점으로 진행한다고 했다.

점검대상은 관내 86개소의 채석단지·토석채취허가지 및 대규모 산지전용허가지로 산림과 산림보호팀 및 산림허가팀으로 구성된 점검반을 편성해 지도·점검에 나선다고 전했다.

주요 내용은 토석 절개면의 유실 또는 낙석의 흔적 여부, 절·성토면 상단 도복우려목 유무, 재해 비상연락망 구축 여부와 기타 사업장 일반관리 현황 등이며, 또한 지난 2월 3일 정덕채 부시장 등은 채석단지 4개소에 대한 현장 긴급 안전점검을 실시해 현장의 안전표지판 보강 및 안전관리자 교육 철저 및 기록 유지하도록 지도·점검을 나섰다고 했다.
