[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] K-water 동두천수도지사가 한국산업안전보건공단으로부터 ‘위험성평가 우수사업장’으로 인정받았다고 밝혔다.

2018년 2월에 이은 두 번째 인정으로 K-water 동두천수도지사의 지속적인 안전관리 노력이 다시 한번 인정받게 되었는데, 위험성평가 우수사업장 인정은 위험성평가 기준과 인정절차에 따라 객관적인 심사로 이루어지며, 산업재해 예방을 위해 사업장에서 사고, 질병 등 유해·위험요인을 노사가 함께 파악, 개선해서 안정성을 확보한 사업장에 대해 인정해 주는 것이라고 했다.

최근 ‘산업안전보건법’ 개정, ‘중대재해 처벌 등에 관한 법률’ 시행예고 등 공공기관의 안전관리 강화가 요구됨에 따라 동두천수도지사는 자체시설에 대한 정기 및 수시 위험성평가뿐 아니라 도급사업 발주시에도 위험성평가를 사전 반영하여 해당 기업의 위험성대책도 정기적으로 점검, 실시함으로써 산업재해 저감에 앞장서고 있다고 전했다.

동두천수도지사 박중익 지사장은 “앞으로도 위험발생요인의 점검, 개선을 통해 안전한 사업장을 만드는 동시에 동두천시에 안정적이고 깨끗한 용수를 공급할 수 있도록 최선을 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
