[김일웅 기자, 남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 최근 코로나19 확진자가 급등하고 있는 가운데 8월 2일 일일 확진자가 전국 기준으로 12만 명을 돌파했다. 지난 2일 중앙재난안전대책본부는 검사·진료·처방까지 가능한 원스톱 진료 기관을 전국에 9천여 개소를 지정했다고 밝혔다. 

 

가평군도 2일 기준 198명의 확진자가 발생하면서 비상이 걸렸다. 가평군은 노인인구 비율이 높다. 취약계층 노인들은 이동 수단의 불편함으로 인해 진료를 받을 수 없는 게 현실이다. 

 

이러한 상황에도 불구하고 가평군 보건소는 가평군 관내 코로나19 확진자들에게 검사·진료·처방까지 가능한 원스톱 진료를 받을 수 있도록 최선을 다하고 있다.

 

현재 가평군은 원스톱 진료 기관을 7개소 설치 운영 중이다. 가평읍 2곳, 청평면 2곳, 조종면 2곳, 설악면 1곳이며 이 중 2곳(설악면:매그놀리아병원/ 조종면:노체리안드리자애병원)은 PCR검사도 받을 수 있다. 원스톱 진료는 검사·진료·처방까지 한 곳에서 모든 것을 해결 할 수 있어 편리함을 갖추었지만, 진료소까지 오는 이동 수단의 문제점은 숙제로 남아 있다.

 

가평군은 과거부터 의료 사각지대의 문제로 골머리를 앓고 있는 곳이다. 의료시설이 부족해 각종 검사와 진료를 받기 위해서 보건소와 관련 병원을 일일이 찾아다녀야 했다. 이러한 고질 적이 문제를 해결해야만 어떤 질병이 와도 해결할 수 있다.

 

경기도 코로나19 홈페이지에 기재된 최근 가평군 코로나 확산추세와 고령인구와 확진자 수를 살펴본바 3일 자정 기준 가평군 누적 확진자는 23,642명이다. 가평군 전체인구 대비 35%가 넘는 수치다. 지난 7일간 확진 추이를 살펴보면 7월 27일 154명을 시작으로 31일 63명을 제외한 8월 1일까지 지속해서 100명대를 유지해오다 지난 2일 198명을 기록하며 200명대 진입을 눈앞에 두고 있다.

가평군 보건소는, 수시로 들어오는 코로나 19 확진자 발생 시 원스톱 의료기관을 통해 보고를 받고 있다고 밝혔다. 하지만 원스톱 의료기관을 방문하지 못하는 의료 사각지대 저 소득층 및 고령 노인들의 실태는 파악이 안 되는 실정이다.

 

원스톱 의료기관에서는, 전문가용 신속 항원 검사를 진행해 양성자들의 확진을 신속하게 선별할 수 있고 그에 따라서 처방까지 가능해 고령층의 노인들을 포함한 확진자들이 위 중증 상태에 빠지는 것을 예방할 수 있는 장점이 있다고 말하고 있다.
