[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 정윤경 도의원은 지난 14일 경기도의회 대회의실에서 개최된 ‘민선8기 경기도가 나아가야 할 정책방향 토론회’에서 1기신도시 특별법관련 제3주제의 토론자로 참석했다고 밝혔다. 

박정 국회의원은 “민선8기 경기도가 순항하여 경기도가 변화의 중심으로, 기회의 땅으로 거듭날 것”이라고 축사했으며, 임종성 국회의원은 “민선8기 경기도가 도민과의 적극적인 소통을 이어간다면 좋은 정책은 자연스럽게 따라올 것”이라고 축사했다.

다음으로, 김상돈 고려대 겸임교수의 발제를 시작으로 경기북부 특별자치도, 경기남부 국제공항, 1기신도시 특별법, 민선7기 계승정책 등 각각의 토론주제에 대하여 지정토론자들이 참여하여 열띤 토론을 펼쳤다.

정윤경 도의원은 “산본을 비롯한 1기 신도시들은 준공한지 30년이 넘었다”며, “지난 세월만큼 건물과 인프라가 노후되면서 입주민의 각종 생활 불편을 초래하는 것은 물론 안전위협에 까지 노출되는 등 전반적인 도시 재정비의 필요성이 커지고 있다”고 주장했다.

이어서 “리모델링이던 재건축 사업이던지 간에 재정비 사업에 따른 입주민의 대규모 이주가 불가피 하다. 전세난 등에 대응하기 위한 구역·단지별 순차적 정비방안 마련에 신경써야 한다”면서, “산본을 비롯한 1기 신도시 지역의 주거환경 정비로써 도민들께서 쾌적한 환경에서 생활할 수 있도록 지속적으로 소통하고 협력해나가겠다”고 토론을 마무리 했다.

한편, 토론회에는 박정 국회의원과 임종성 국회의원이 참석해 토론회 개최를 축하했으며, 기본소득실천연대 경기본부 김상돈 상임대표, 성기황 도의원, 김옥순 도의원, 김명원 前도의원, 시군 상임대표 등 50여 명이 참석했다.
