[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군보건소 치매안심센터는 제15회 치매극복의 날을 기념해 온·오프라인 방식으로 주간행사를 진행한다고 밝혔다.

매년 9월 21일은 치매관리의 중요성을 널리 알리고 가족과 사회가 치매 환자에 대한 문제를 새롭게 인식하는 계기를 마련하고자 지정된 치매극복의 날이다.

온라인행사 참여는  20일 화요일 14시 유튜브에 접속해 ‘경기도광역치매센터’를 검색하고 기념행사 라이브에 참여하면 치매극복의 날 기념 축사, 치매극복 유공자 시상, 치매극복 그림책 ‘우리 가족입니다’의 저자 이혜란 작가와의 만남, 치매극복 어린이 그림 공모전 온라인 전시회 등을 관람할 수 있다.

오프라인행사로는 오는 24일 토요일 15시부터 가평 음악역 1939에서 치매인식개선 홍보 및 캠페인을 진행한다. 

이번 행사에서는 인식개선과 치매안심센터의 사업을 홍보할 뿐 아니라 치매파트너도 모집할 계획으로, 치매파트너는 치매환자와 가족을 이해하고 배려하는 따뜻한 동반자를 뜻하며 파트너 교육을 이수하면 초등학생 이상 누구나 가능하다.

가평군보건소장은 “이번 치매극복 주간행사를 통해 치매에 대한 부정적인 인식을 개선시키고 치매 친화적 환경을 조성해 나가며 치매걱정 없는 행복한 가평군을 구현해 나가겠다.”고 말했다.
