[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8일 의정부시의회는 제315회 임시회 제3차 본회의를 열고 의장과 부의장, 3개 상임위원회 위원장을 선출하여 제9대 의정부시의회를 이끌어갈 전반기 원 구성을 마쳤다고 전했다.

이날 임시회에서 의장단 선거를 통해 의장 최정희 의원, 부의장 김현주 의원, 자치행정위원장 김연균 의원, 도시‧건설위원장 이계옥 의원, 운영위원장 김태은 의원을 선출하고 상임위원회 구성을 완료했다.

한편 3개 상임위원회는 자치행정위원회 김연균(위원장), 권안나(부위원장), 조세일, 강선영, 김현채, 정미영 의원 등 6명, 도시‧건설위원회 이계옥(위원장), 오범구(부위원장), 정진호, 김지호, 김태은, 김현주 의원 등 6명, 운영위원회 김태은(위원장), 강선영, 정미영, 권안나,  오범구 의원 등 5명이 선임됐다.

최정희 신임 의장은 당선 인사를 통해 “제9대 시의회는 13명 의원의 화합을 통해 시민의 대의기관으로서의 역할을 충실히 수행하고, 시민 여러분의 기대와 요구에 부응하며 새로운 변화의 장을 함께 열어갈 수 있도록 최선을 다해 의정활동을 하겠다”라고 소감을 밝혔다.

원 구성을 마친 의정부시의회는 이달 제316회 임시회를 열고 2022년도 주요업무보고를 시작으로 본격적인 의정활동에 돌입한다.
