[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 북부지방산림청은 지난 5일 대회의실에서 「현장관리자 사업안전 점검회의」를 개최했다.

이날 회의에는 소속 6개 국유림관리소장과 고용노동부 원주고용노동지청, 안전보건공단 강원지역본부 관계자가 참석했으며, 안전문화가 산림사업장에 정착될 수 있도록 최고의 노력을 기울일 것을 다짐하는 결의서를 작성, 근로자의 안전이 산림사업의 최우선 가치임을 선포했다.

또한 각 기관이 산림사업지 합동점검 등 협업하여 안전을 확보할 수 있는 방안에 대해 심도있게 토의했다.

최수천 북부지방산림청장은 “지속가능한 산림자원의 순환을 바탕으로 산림 르네상스 시대를 열기 위해서는 산림사업이 안전하게 이루어져야 하는 전제조건이 반드시 갖추어져야 한다.”며, “고용노동부, 안전보건공단과 협업하여 산림분야 산업재해 예방을 위해 앞장서겠다.”고 밝혔다.
