홍천군이 스마트기기에 취약한 연령층이 방역패스 의무화로 소외받지 않도록 다양한 발급 방법을 지원하기 위해 노력하고 있으며, 집단감염 우려가 높다고 판단되는 다중이용시설에 출입 시에는 백신 접종완료 또는 코로나19 음성을 증명하는 방역패스를 제시해야 한다고 했다.

방역패스는 유흥시설, 노래연습장, 목욕장업, 경마·경륜·경정, 카지노업장, 실내체육시설(헬스장·탁구장·스크린골프장·당구장·볼링장)과 같은 고위험 다중이용시설과 의료기관, 요양시설, 중증장애인, 치매시설 등 감염취약시설에 입원할 때나 환자·입소자를 면회할 때 요구되며, 적용 예외 연령도 오는 2022년 2월 1일부터 현행 18세 이하에서 11세 이하로 변경된다고 했다.
