[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 경기주택도시공사(GH)가 수탁운영 중인 경기도 도시재생지원센터는 지난 6일 `2022 경기도 도시재생 주민참여 경진대회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

주민참여 경진대회는 경기도 내 각 지역의 도시재생 추진현황과 주민참여 사례를 공유하는 자리이며, 이날 대회에서는 주민공모사업 우수사례, 지역공동체 활성화 사례 등 2개 분야, 총 16팀이 참가했다. 

심사 결과, 대상에는 부천시 원미마을관리 사회적협동조합, 최우수상 에는 시흥시 핫플로팀이 선정되는 등 총 8팀(대상ㆍ최우수상 1팀, 우수상 2팀, 장려상 4팀)이 수상했다. 수상자들은 트로피와 함께 총 1200만 원(대상 300만원, 최우수상 200만원, 우수상 150만원, 장려상 100만원)의 상금을 수여 받았다. 

대상을 수상한 부천시 원미마을관리 사회적협동조합은 마을 맞춤형 서비스 제공을 통한 지역 중심의 경제 활성화로 높은 평가를 받았고, 최우수상을 수상한 시흥시 핫플로팀은 거리환경 조성사업과, 플리마켓 등을 운영하여 상권 활성화로 우수한 평가를 받았다.

경기도 도시재생지원센터는 수상작들의 사례를 바탕으로 주민참여 사례집을 제작하여 경기도 도시재생의 지속가능성을 확산할 예정이다. 

경기도 도시재생지원센터장은 “앞으로도 주민들과 소통하며 지속가능한 도시재생의 추진력을 만들 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
