신북면화물운송협의회는 에너지 위기 가정 지원을 위해 연간 20가구에 정기 후원할 예정이며, 신북면 복지사각지대에 있는 주민을 돕고자 하는 개인이나 단체는 신북면행정복지센터로 연락하면 자세한 안내를 받을 수 있다고 했다.

기탁식에 참석한 김만수 대표는 “작은 정성이지만 지역사회에 나눔을 실천하게 돼 기쁘다. 코로나19로 더 힘들게 생활하고 있는 어려운 이웃들에게 조금이나마 보탬이 됐으면 좋겠다.”라고 말했다.

이춘수 신북면장은 “신북면민들을 위한 후원에 진심으로 감사드린다.”라며 “협의회 회원분들의 따듯한 마음이 잘 전달되어 힘든 겨울을 보내고 있는 취약계층 가구에 희망의 불씨가 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”라고 전했다.
