[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 27일 KB국민은행 교문지점에서 양주시장애인종합복지관에 후원금을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이날 전달식에는 KB국민은행 교문지점 이승호 지점장을 비롯한 임직원과 양주시장애인종합복지관 김정희 관장이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다고 했다. 

후원금을 전달한 이승호 지점장은 "개인적으로 사회복지분야를 공부해보니, 장애인복지에 기여할 수 있는 방법이 무궁무진하다고 새삼 느꼈습니다. 양주시장애인종합복지관에 전달해드린 후원금이 양주시 지역사회 장애인분들에게 작게나마 보탬이 되었으면 합니다. 앞으로도 KB국민은행 교문지점은 양주시장애인종합복지관과 끈끈한 관계를 유지해 나가며 적극적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠습니다."라며 지속적 후원의지를 밝혔다.

양주시장애인종합복지관은 2019년 개관이래 KB국민은행 교문지점과 긴밀한 협력관계를 유지하고 있으며, 기탁된 후원금은 전액 양주시 장애인복지 발전을 위해 사용되고 있고, 더불어 4차산업과 복지를 융합시킨 스마트복지관으로서의 선구자 역할을 하고 있으며, 사회·의료·교육·직업 등의 다양한 장애인복지사업을 진행하고 있는 양주시 유일의 장애인복지관이라고 전했다.
