[김택곤 기자=정선군] 정선군이 행정안전부에서 주관한 2022년 골목경제 회복지원사업 추진 우수사례 기관으로 선정되었다.

군은 지난 11월 11일 부산광역시에서 진행된 2022년 골목경제 회복지원사업 추진 우수사례 발표대회에 참가해  남면 은빛물결 억새마을 조성사업에 대해 발표해 우수 기관으로 선정되어 30일 세종특별시 행정안전부 제1별관에서 행정안전부 장관상을 수상했다.

행정안전부는 전국 지자체의 골목경제 회복지원사업 중 우수사례를 발굴하기 위해 해마다 발표대회를 개최하고 있으며, 올해에는 7곳의 시·군 중 정선군은 유일한 군단위로, 심사평에서조차 척박한 환경에서 열정적으로 참여한 주민들을 언급했을 정도로 인구와 교통 및 각종 인프라가 가장 열악하여 수상의 의미가 매우 깊다.

정선군은 지난 2018년 골목경제 활성화 지원사업 공모에 선정되어 2020년까지 정선군 남면을 중심으로‘은빛물결 억새마을’조성사업을 추진했다.

본 사업을 통해 억새마을 일원은 점포 수 증가, 공실 감소, 유동인구 및 매출 증가 등의 성과를 얻었으며, 51명의 일자리를 창출하고 2명은 창업을 하는 등 주민의 자립을 위한 마중물 역할을 했다.
