민둥산 억새보존회는 억새 보존을 위해 생산, 발육, 성장속도 등 참억새에 대한 연구를 통해 제품 개발, 식재 등을 추진하고 센터에서는 이에 필요한 교육, 전문가 컨설팅, 상품화, 판로개척 등을 지원하는 협업을 통해 일자리 창출과 소득 증대을 위해 노력해온 성과다.
