[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주밥상공동체종합사회복지관이 보건복지부 취약노인보호사업 공모전 프로그램 부문에서 최우수상과 함께 상금 700만 원을 받았다고 밝혔다.

취약노인보호사업 공모전은 전국 645개 노인맞춤돌봄사업 수행기관을 대상으로 프로그램, 영상, 수기, 사진 총 4개 분야로 진행됐다고 전했다. 

원주밥상공동체종합사회복지관은 코로나19 장기화 속에서 어르신들의 돌봄 공백을 최소화하기 위해 ‘틈새 없는 돌봄! 학습을 더하다’를 주제로 인지기능 강화교육, 소셜 로봇 효돌 지원 등 다양한 프로그램을 통해 어르신들의 우울감 해소 및 치매 예방에 힘쓴 점이 인정됐다고 했다.

특히, ICT 기반 소셜로봇 ‘효돌’과 SM20 ‘보듬이’를 활용한 24시간 비대면 돌봄으로 안전한 돌봄 체계를 구축하고 코로나19에 따른 돌봄 공백을 최소화했다고 했다.

지난 12월 31일 원주시청에서 열린 전수식에서 허기복 관장은 “앞으로도 내가 살던 마을에서 행복하게 노후를 지내실 수 있도록 세심히 살피는 돌봄 서비스사업을 적극적으로 추진해 나가겠다.”라고 소감을 밝혔다.
