[김준호 기자=삼척시] 삼척시는 3월 10일 한국농어촌공사 강릉지사와 삼척 청년 농촌보금자리 조성사업을 위한 위․수탁 협약을 체결한다.

이날, 양측 업무관계자가 참석한 가운데 사업시행 지침에 따라 기본계획수립부터 공사 준공 후 인수․인계까지의 전반적인 사항을 한국농어촌공사 강릉지사에 일괄 위탁하기로 협약한다.

삼척 청년 농촌보금자리 조성사업은 2025년까지 3년간 총사업비 80억 원(국비 40억, 시비 40억)을 투입하여 원덕읍 산양리 일원에 공공임대 단독주택 11동(30호), 공동보육시설 1동 신축(110㎡), 커뮤니티시설(리모델링) 1동(210㎡)을 조성한다. 

시설조성 완료 후, 2026년부터는 만18세 이상~만40세 미만의 청년 농업인 및 만50세 미만 귀농·귀촌인을 대상으로 공고 모집을 통해 최장 10년간 임대할 계획이다.

박상수 삼척시장은 “공공임대형 청년 농촌보금자리 조성사업을 통해 귀농귀촌 희망 청년 및 농촌 청년들에게 주거 부담을 완화하여 안정적 농촌 정착 지원계획을 밝혔다." 

덧붙여, "국비 200억 확보를 통해 추진 중인 삼척특화 임대형 스마트팜 조성사업과 연계 추진함으로써 시너지 효과를 극대화하여 농촌 인구감소 위기에 대응하고, 미래의 농업 인력 확보에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 전했다.
