[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 8일 포천종합사회복지관과 차의과학대학교는 포천종합사회복지관에서 지역주민 복지지원과 대학의 사회공헌활동 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

양 기관은 2016년부터 홀몸 어르신을 위한 밑반찬 지원활동, 대학생 실습 및 봉사활동, 아동 도서지원 등 지역주민의 복지증진을 위한 사회공헌활동을 추진해왔으며, 특히 2019년부터 지역사회정신건강실습 수업 참여 미술치료학과, AI보건의료학과 사회복지전공 대학생들의 전공을 활용해 코로나19로 우울감이 높아진 지역 아동의 정서 지원활동을 진행하고 있다고 했다.

이종범 관장은 “업무협약 체결로 대학생에게는 전문성 향상과 사회공헌활동 참여의 기회를 제공하고, 지역 복지욕구 및 이슈에 대응하여 복지서비스가 개발되기를 기대한다.”라고 전했다.
