[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 18일 동두천시 소요동 행정복지센터는 동두천시 중앙새마을금고에서 설명절을 맞아 관내 취약계층에게 전달해 달라며 이웃돕기 백미 10kg 50포를 기탁했다고 밝혔다. 

중앙새마을금고는 대표적인 사회공헌활동인 ‘사랑의 좀도리운동’을 통해 매년 소요동의 어려운 이웃을 위해 끊임없는 사랑을 실천하여 지역사회 나눔문화 확산에 기여하고 있다고 했다.

주진희 이사장은 “사랑의 좀도리 운동은 함께 힘을 모아 어려움을 이겨내기 위한 사회공헌활동이다. 이 캠페인에 참여해주신 모든 분들께 감사드리며, 어렵고 힘든 시기를 우리 모두 잘 이겨냈으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
