[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 21일 성경원 미소드림봉사단은 소요동에 거주하는 저소득 재가노인 식사배달사업 대상자 23명에게 맛있는 밑반찬을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

성경원 미소드림봉사단은 소요동과  ‘복지사각지대 발굴 및 이웃돕기 물품 배송 지원’ MOU를 맺고, 매월 격주마다 재가어르신 식사배달사업으로 노인복지관에서 제공하는 도시락을 재가노인의 가정에 배달하고 있으며, 이날 회원들은 어르신 23명의 가정에 방문하여 밑반찬을 전달하며 더불어 어르신들의 안부를 살피는 시간을 가졌다고 했다.

성경원 미소드림봉사단 이진숙 단장은 “어려운 이웃들을 위해 도움을 줄 수 있어 보람된다”며 “앞으로도 주변에 더욱 관심을 갖고 관심과 사랑을 전하는 봉사활동에 적극 참여할 것”이라고 전했다.

장지봉 소요동장은 “꾸준히 봉사를 실천해주시는 성경원 미소드림봉사단 이진숙 단장에 감사드리며, 소요동행정복지센터에서는 복지사각지대 취약계층이 없도록 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
