[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 민간자본 유치로 군민에게 힐링과 행복을 가져 다 줄 성장동력 발굴을 위해 투자유치전문업체인 올리브트리코퍼레이션(주)와 업무협약을 체결했다고 10일 밝혔다.

협약체결대상인 올리브트리코퍼레이션은 국제변호사인 성연진 변호사가 대표로 있는 투자유치 전문회사로서, 인도네시아 자카르타 경전철 개발 프로젝트, 거제·제주 리조트 개발 유치, 인천 영종도복합 카지노 리조트 개발 프로젝트 등을 진행하고 있는 업체이다.

가평군 관계자는 "이번 협약 체결로 인해 청평역, 상천역, 가평역을 거점으로 3개 권역별로 총 1,500억원 규모의 투자를 유치함으로써, 침체되어 있는 지역경제에 훈풍이 되어 자연중심의 관광도시로 한걸음 더 도약할 수 있는 밑거름이 되기를 기대하고 있다."라고 말했다.
