[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 12일 가평군 상면은 봉수리에 위치한 ㈜경주생약식품사업부 대표와 직원들이 오전 10시 상면행정복지센터에 방문해 취약계층에 전달해 달라며 작년에 이어 150만원 상당의 겨울 이불 30채를 기부했다고 밝혔다.

이 업체는 2017년부터 매년 60여명의 직원들이 십시일반 모은 성금으로 관내 고등학교 장학금 기탁 및 어려운 이웃을 위해 연탄배달 봉사활동을 하는 등 지역의 취약계층을 위한 나눔을 꾸준히 실천해 오고 있다고 했다.

㈜경주생약식품사업부 박진호 대표는 “임직원들이 자발적으로 모은 적립금으로 취약계층이 살기 힘든 동절기에 가장 필요한 방한용품을 지원하여 따뜻한 겨울을 나는 데에 조금이나마 보탬이 되어 기쁘다”며 “소외된 분들에게 작은 위로와 힘이 되길 바란다”고 뜻을 전했다.

위선경 상면장은 “코로나19 시기에 경제가 어려운 가운데에도 작년에 이어 잊지 않고 도움을 주셔서 진심으로 감사드리며, 기탁해 주신 이불은 도움이 필요한 가정에 하루 빨리 전달해드리도록 하겠다.”고 감사의 말을 전했다.

기탁된 이불은 상면행정복지센터 맞춤형복지팀에서 경기사회복지공동모금회 기탁 처리 후 취약계층 가구에 소중히 전달할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
