2021년 우리동네 천사통장 활동 우수자는 총 3명이 선발됐으며, 동 복지행정분야에 최기영 54통장, 자원발굴 분야에 김은신 31통장, 복지사각지대 발굴 분야에 신영수 11통장이 영예로운 수상자가 됐다고 했다.

우리동네 천사통장은 위기가구 발견 시 신고 의무가 있는 통장을 복지통장으로 별도 임명하여 그 역할을 강조한 것으로, 마을 실정에 밝은 통장이 복지사각지대 발굴업무에 적극 협력해 이웃이 이웃을 돕는 체계를 구축하고 동 인적안전망 강화를 위해 시행하고 있다고 전했다.

주요 활동으로는 고위험군 안부 확인 및 복지사각지대 위기가구 발굴·신고하기, 거동 불편한 취약계층에 후원물품 전달하기, 후원자 및 자원 발굴하기, 기초생활수급자 및 국가유공자 세대에 종량제봉투 전달하기 등이 있다고 했다.
