[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 1월 24일부터 2월 18일까지 동두천시는 ‘2022년 마을공동체 주민제안 공모사업’을 공개 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 공모사업은 자발적으로 조직된 동두천시 거주 및 생활권을 둔 10명이상 주민으로 구성하여 마을 공동의 문제를 해결하고 주민 간 소통과 화합을 할 수 있는 사업으로 접수를 받는다고 했다.

공동체활동 분야는 공동육아방, 교육, 마을꾸미기, 체험, 복지 등 8개팀을 선정하며, 최대 5백만원의 활동 경비를 지원하고, 공동체 공간조성 분야는 1개소를 선정하여 최대 2천만원까지 시설개선에 필요한 소요경비를 지원한다고 전했다.

공모사업에 지원하고자 하는 마을공동체는 오는 2월 18일까지 홈페이지 공고문을 참고하여 사업계획서와 모임소개서, 구성원 서명부 등을 포함하여 제출하면 된다고 했다.

동두천시 관계자는 “이번에 추진되는 주민제안공모사업이 주민이 주도적으로 마을의 문제 해결에 참여하고, 공동의 복지를 위하여 노력하는 과정을 통하여, 주민자치의 의미를 찾는 동시에 행복한 지역사회 발전에  큰 공헌을 할 것이라 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
