[김준호 기자=동해시] 동해문화관광재단이 올해 문화체육관광부에서 추진한 2023 문화가 있는 날 지역특화프로그램 공모사업에 최종 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 공모에 선정된 사업명은 ‘Connecting the dots, 커넥팅 더 닷’으로 과거 누적된 모든 경험과 역사가 미래로 연결되어 하나의 새로운 정체성을 만들어 낸다는 의미를 갖고 있다.

관내 다양한 사업을 통해 새롭게 탄생한 연필뮤지엄, 바닷가책방마을, 별누리천문대, 무릉별유천지를 선정하여 해당 장소에서 발견할 수 있는 새로운 콘텐츠로 프로그램을 기획 구성했다.

동해문화관광재단에서는 6월~10월까지 문화의 날 주간에 총 5회 프로그램을 진행하여, 각 장소별 공연, 전시, 체험, 북콘서트 등 신선한 볼거리와 다채로운 즐길거리를 마련할 예정이다.

동해문화관광재단 송영애 사무국장은 “로컬 크리에이터 및 지역예술가가 활발히 활동할 수 있도록 지원 방안을 지속적으로 마련하고, 시민들의 자발적인 문화행사가 다양하게 이루어질 수 있도록 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
