[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 평창군새마을회는 새마을지회 사무실에서 '2021년 평창군새마을지도자 평가대회'를 개최하였다고 밝혔다.

본 대회에서는 한 해 동안 지역발전과 이웃사랑 실천을 위해 각종 봉사활동과 공익사업에 적극적으로 참여해 온 새마을지도자에 대하여 표창을 전수하고 노고를 치하 하였다고 전했다.  

평창군새마을부녀회장 전금자는 대통령 표창을 수상하였으며, 국무총리 표창에 대관령면새마을부녀회장 최철순이 수상하였고, 이 외에도 새마을운동중앙회 회장 표창, 강원도지사 표창, 평창군수 표창 등을 포함해 총32명이 새마을운동 유공으로 표창을 수여받았다고 했다.  

한편, 이날 행사는 코로나19 확산 상황으로 고려하여 읍ㆍ면별 새마을지도자남여협의회 회장을 비롯한 임원진을 대상으로 축소 개최되었다고 밝혔다.
