[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 7일, 가평 잣 협회에서 장학기금과 함께 250만원 성금을 군에 기탁하여 전달식을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

특별히 가평 잣 협회는 2015년도부터 줄곧 이웃사랑 실천을 이어오고 있어 지역사회에 모범이 되고 있다고 헀다. 

전달식에 참석한 가평 잣 협회 이규열 회장은 “최근 코로나 재확산과 한파로 인해 마음까지 힘든 시간을 겪고 있는 어려운 이웃들에게 보탬이 되길 바란다” 며 성금을 군에 기탁하였다.

김성기 군수는 “코로나19의 재확산으로 사회적 거리두기가 강화되어 모두가 힘들어하는 시기에 장학기금과 이웃돕기 성금을 동시에 기탁해주신 가평 잣 협회에 무한한 감사를 드리며, 기탁된 성금은 취지에 맞게 지역인재 육성과 관내 어려운 이웃을 위해 소중히 사용할 것”이라며 감사의 인사를 전했다.

한편 군관계자는 기부 받은 성금을 관내 저소득층과 복지사각지대에 있는 어려운 이웃을 위해 사용할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
