[남상훈 기자 = 평창] 알펜시아 리조트가 봄맞이 재개장을 통해 관공객들을 맞을 준비를 마쳤다. 

KH그룹(회장 배상윤)의 알펜시아 리조트는 동절기 동안 안전점검을 마치고 16일 부터 본격적인 운영에 들어간다. 

알파인 코스터는 대관령 천혜 자연과 풍경을 한눈에 조망할 수 있는 놀이시설로 최고 속도 40km의 빠른 스피드를 즐길 수 있어 여름 시즌 인기 레포츠 시설로 꼽힌다.

특수 제작된 무동력 카트를 타고 시속 20km의 속도로 활강하는 알펜시아 루지 등 각종 야외 레저시설도 4월 중순 재개장을 위해 안전점검을 진행 중이다.

뿐만아니라 알펜시아 리조트의 플레이버스(Flavours) 레스토랑과 몽블랑(Mont Blanc) 레스토랑은 봄을 맞이하여 조개 봄나무 파스타, 도다리 맑은탕, 꽃게 로제 파스타, 꼬막 봄나무 비빔밥 등 신선한 제철 음식을 준비했다.

한편 야외시설 재개장에 맞추어 알펜시아리조트 전 임직원이 봄맞이 단장을 실시했다. 오랜 기간 외부 노출로 인해 파손된 싸인물과 칠이 벗겨진 벽면 보수 등 리조트 내 낡은 시설을 재정비하고 쾌적한 환경을 조성했다. 

KH그룹 관계자는 “봄을 맞이해 알펜시아리조트 전 임직원이 솔선수범해 낡은 외벽을 페인트칠하고 일부 낡은 시설을 정비하며 달라진 모습에 보람을 느끼고 즐거워했다”면서 “로 거듭나겠다”고 밝혔다.
