[남상훈 기자 = 고성군] 고성군이 강원도가 실시한 '2022년 지방규제개혁 평가'에서 우수 지자체로 선정되어 '강원도지사' 장려 표창을 받게 된다고 밝혔다.

이번 평가는 도내 18개 시군을 대상으로 3개 분야 9개 항목의 평가지표에 따른 자체평가 및 실적검증 등을 통해 진행됐다.

고성군은 주민불편 해소 및 지역경제 활성화를 위한 규제개혁을 현장중심의 찾아가는 규제 이동상담센터 운영했다. 관내 14개 업체 37건의 기업 애로 및 주민 불편 규제 상담 등을 추진해 코로나19 경기 침체로 어려움을 겪는 기업체의 불편 해소에 노력해 왔다.

또한 군민과 함께하는 생활 속 규제 공모를 추진으로 일상생활과 기업활동에 걸림돌이 되는 규제를 제안한 군민에 대해 자체심사를 거쳐 10명에게 공모 시상금을 수여했다. 이와 더불어 각종 공모 및 신고센터를 통해 접수된 애로사항을 중앙부처 등에 적극건의해 규제 애로 해소에 노력하고 있으며, 지역주민이 지방규제개혁에 참여할 수 있는 토대를 마련하기 위하여 규제 신고 고객 보호서비스 헌장 운영 규정을 제정했다.
