[김준호 기자=동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)는 시민을 위한 주거수준 향상과 주거안정에 중점을 두고, 주거비 지원, 주거환경개선, 공공임대주택 공급 등 3개 분야에 총 사업비 55억여 원을 투입한다고 밝혔다.

주거비 지원 분야에서는, 맞춤형 기초생활보장 주거급여는 소득과 재산을 반영한 소득인정액이 기준중위소득 47%이하의 전․월세 임차가구에 대해 가구원수별 기준임대료를 상한으로 매월 실제 임차료를 지급한다. 

특히, 지난해 8월 시행된 청년월세 한시 특별지원은 무주택 만19~34세 청년을 대상으로 월 최대 20만원 임대료를 지급하게 되며, 8월 21일까지 신청받는다.

주거환경개선 분야에서는, 집수리 지원사업에는 8억여 원의 예산을 확보해 한국토지주택공사 강원지역본부와 위․수탁 업무협약을 체결하여 110가구를 지원한다는 계획이다.

한편, 장애인 주택개조사업과 차상위계층의 주거환경개선을 지원하는 강원도형 수선유지 주거급여 지원사업으로 4천여만 원의 예산을 확보하여 지원하게 된다.

아울러, 주택공급 분야는 LH와 연계해 영구임대 298세대(천곡주공5차)와 매입임대 184세대(다가구주택), 전세임대 등 LH의 모집요청이 있는 경우 예비입주자를 모집한다.

장인대 건축과장은 “가구별 맞춤형 주거복지 지원사업을 통해 사각지대를 해소하고 더 많은 시민이 혜택을 받고 안정된 정주 환경에서 살 수 있도록 주거복지 향상을 위해 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
