[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 지난 17일 강원도 기업호민관 순회간담회를 개최하여 기업규제개선을 통한 시 발전방안에 대해 논의했다고 밝혔다.

이날 기업호민관은 DB메탈 동해공장과 창업보육센터를 방문하여 기업현안에 대한 간담회를 열고 기업 애로사항 및 규제 건의사항들을 청취했다.

이주연 기업호민관은 "현장의 어려움을 직접 찾아가서 청취하고 제도개선이 필요한 규제를 지속적으로 발굴 해소하여 도내 기업들이 활발한 성장을 할 수 있도록 돕겠다”고 말했다.

심규언 동해시장은 “제도개선이 필요한 기업규제를 지속적으로 발굴해 정부에 건의하고 기업이 살기 좋은 도시가 될 수 있도록 노력을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 강원도 기업호민관은 도지사를 대신해 기업활동과 관련한 불합리한 규제를 발굴하고 개선을 요청하는 제도로 기업들을 방문하며 각종 규제로 인한 어려움을 청취하고 해결방안을 모색하는 역할을 한다.
