[김준호 기자=동해시] 동해시는 3월 29일~4월 10일까지 13일간 선라이즈 국제하키경기장에서 2023 춘계 전국하키대회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

대한하키협회와 동해시하키협회가 주관하는 이번 대회는 남중부 9개팀, 여중부 3개팀, 남고부 8개팀, 여고부 5개팀, 남대부 4개팀, 여대부 1개팀, 남일반부 3개팀, 여일반부 6개팀으로 총 39개팀 750여명의 규모로 명실상부한 국내 최대규모의 하키대회이다.

또, 4월말부터 제42회 협회장기 전국남녀하키대회 등 굵직한 하키대회가 연이어 개최되며, 전국 각지에서 하키 전지훈련팀들도 방문할 예정으로 지역경제 활성화에도 크게 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

이선우 동해시 체육교육과장은 “이번 대회를 통해 선수들이 기량을 마음껏 펼치고, 동해시를 방문한 선수, 임원, 가족들이 불편함이 없도록 세심한 지원에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
