[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 내년도 국도비 확보를 위해 지난 10일 2024년 국도비 예산의 전략적 확보를 위한 제1차 사업발굴 보고회에 이어, 오는 9일 국비 확보를 위한 특강과 컨설팅을 진행한다.

시의 초청으로 강원도 기획재정협력관 서동진 서기관(기획재정부 소속)의 특강 및 컨설팅에 전직원이 참여했다.

이날, 국비 확보를 위한 기초이해 특강을 통해 정부 역점 정책과 연계한 대규모 국비 사업 발굴 과정과 정부예산에 따른 순기별 맞춤형 조치계획을 비롯해, 국비 신청 단계에서부터 대응체계를 구축하는 내용의 강의가 이어져 직원들의 국비 확보에 대한 이해도를 높이게 된다.

특강 종료 후에는 묵호항 국제 여객선 터미널 건립, 첨단 해양바이오 소재 산업 육성, 천곡 도심 빛 테마파크 조성사업등의 사업과 관련된 7개 부서가 참여한 가운데,

컨설팅을 통해 올해 미반영된 사업에 대하여는 타당성을 보완하고, 신규로 추진하는 사업에 대해서는 정부예산에 반드시 반영될 수 있는 전략을 담아낸다는 계획이다.

시는 이번 국비 확보를 위한 특강과 컨설팅을 통해 정부예산의 준비단계부터 예산확보까지의 대응 전략 및 사업발굴을 위해 전직원에 대한 실무역량을 강화하는 한편, 2월중 2차 국도비 사업발굴 보고회를 개최하여 전략적 정부예산 확보 등 총력을 기울인다는 방침이다.

신영선 기획예산과장은 “앞으로도 정부 정책 및 강원도 시책과 연계한 사업을 지속적으로 발굴하고, 민선 8기 공약사업 중 국․도비로 추진 가능한 사업의 예산을 적극적으로 확보하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
