[김준호 기자=동해시] 동해시가 행안부 주관 2023년 지역공동체 시설 활성화 지원 공모에서  "동해 청년 나르샤! 열림 활력 업 프로젝트"사업이 도내에서 동해시가 유일하게 선정되어 국비를 확보하게 됐다고 밝혔다.

이에따라, 시는 사업비 25백만원을 투입하여 청년단체 네트워크 구축 등 청년문화 조성을 위한 소모임 동아리 활동 및 공동체 교류활동을 집중 지원한다는 방침이다.

공개모집을 통해 오는 28일까지 사업에 참여할 공동체(단체)를 접수 받게 되며, 공고일 현재 동해시에 주소를 두고 청년활동 지원사업을 수행할 수 있는 적정한 능력을 갖춘 공동체(단체)면 신청이 가능하다.

선정된 공동체(단체)는 청년공간 열림과 업무협약 체결 후 협업을  통해 오는 4월부터 12월까지 9개월 간 각종 청년지원 프로그램을 기획, 운영하게 된다. 

임성빈 경제과장은 “청년공간 열림을 거점으로 미래세대의 중심인 청년 공동체가 형성되고 공동체 간 교류사업을 통해 네트워크를 구축하여 지역사회와 상생발전하는 건전한 청년문화가 조성되어 지역의 활력소가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
