[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 16일 GH는 공공임대주택에 거주하는 도민의 문화 향유권 확대를 위해 ‘미술작품 설치 시범사업’을 시행한다고 밝혔다.

현재「공공주택 특별법」에 따라 공공건설 임대주택은 미술작품 의무 설치가 제외되며, 이에 따라 상대적으로 분양주택과 공공 임대주택 간의 문화체감 및 주택품질에 대한 격차가 있었다고 했다. 

이러한 불균형을 해소하기 위해 GH는 ‘안양관양고 공공주택사업’ 지구 내의 공공임대주택에 미술작품 설치 시범사업을 진행할 계획이라고 전했다.

또한 이번 시범사업에서 청년 신진작가를 대상으로 미술작품을 공모하여 신진예술가에게 창작기회를 제공하며, 선정된 안은 GH의 문화예술자문위원회 심의를 통해 선정될 것이라고 밝혔다.

GH 장동우 주거사업본부장은 “공공분양·임대주택 구분없이 도민의 주거 공간에 문화예술이 함께하는 살기 좋은 주거단지 조성을 위해 지속적인 노력을 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
