[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 25일부터 26일까지 양일간 동두천시종합자원봉사센터에서는 경기도자원봉사센터의 지원사업으로 선정된 ‘2021 경기 사랑 愛 집 고치기’ 사업을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이 사업은 관내 취약계층 가정이 건강한 주거환경에서 생활할 수 있도록 지원하는 목적으로 계획됐으며, 동두천시무한돌봄센터와 (사)희망지킴이 천사운동본부에서 복지사각지대에 놓인 대상자 3가구를 추천받아 인터리어 전문가들의 재능기부와 천사기동봉사대-사랑의집수리 자원봉사자들과 함께 도배·장판·문 교체 및 집수리 전반부터 청소, 정리정돈 활동까지 진행했다고 전했다.

박대혁 봉사자는 “2021 경기 사랑 愛 집고치기를 통해 재능 나눔을 실천할 수 있고, 어려웃 이웃들이 깨끗하고 안전한 환경 속에서 생활하실 수 있도록 조금이나마 도움을 드릴 수 있어서 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 주거환경 개선 활동에 적극 동참하도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
