[남상훈 기자 =홍천군] 지난 6일 홍천군은 2022년 주민참여예산 제안사업의 참여범위를 확대해 홍천읍 결운1리 외 3곳에 대한 현장 방문을 통해 추진 결과에 대한 평가 모니터링을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

모니터링 대상 사업은 지난해 주민참여예산 제도를 통해 제안되어 2022년 본예산에 편성된 홍천읍 지역사업으로 -결운1리 마을가꾸기(군부대 담장 벽화) -홍천읍 큰골길 도로의 인도 설치 -토리숲 내 작은도서관 조성 -꽃뫼공원 공중화장실 개선 사업이다.

평가 모니터링은 홍천읍 주민참여예산 지역회의 위원, 주민참여예산 담당자, 사업부서 담당자, 제안자가 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.

지역회의 위원들은 부서 담당자의 사업 설명 후 사업의 당초 제안 취지 일치, 지역 발전·주민 편익 등의 기여, 사업 예산 낭비 요인 발생 여부 등을 중점으로 완료된 사업 현장을 직접 살펴보고 추진과정에 대한 질의응답의 시간을 통해 개선 사항에 대한 의견도 제시했다. 

한인용 홍천읍장은 “주민이 제안하여 편성되고 집행 완료된 사업의 평가과정까지 주민이 직접 참여하게 하여 살펴볼 수 있는 의미 있는 시간이었다”며 “앞으로도 제도와 지역 발전을 위해 책임감을 갖고 지속적인 관심과 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
