이번 간담회는 해당 읍·면 주소지에 소재하는 군 단위 기관·단체장, 읍·면 단위 기관·단체장, 이장, 새마을 지도자, 새마을부녀회장 등 지역주민 대표 읍·면별 각 100여 명 이내로 참석하여 추진하며, 함명준 고성군수의 주재로 2022년도 군정 주요시책 설명 및 지난 2021년도 간담회시 건의된 169건의 건의사항 처리결과 설명 및 성과보고, 금년 건의사항 수렴 순으로 진행하고, 또한 코로나 19로 인하여 최소한의 인원만으로 방역수칙을 준수하면서 간담회를 추진하게 된다고 전했다.

군 관계자는 “이번 간담회는 군정 주요시책 설명과 건의사항 수렴과 과년도에 건의된 사항에 대한 설명을 할 계획이다”라며, “‘희망찬 미래 평화중심 고성’의 성장동력을 가속화하여 군민화합으로 새롭게 도약하는 희망찬 고성군을 만들기 위해 최선을 다할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
