[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 신영재 홍천군수는 소통·신속한 행정을 위한 10개 읍·면 지역 주민과의 간담회 일정을 마무리했다고 밝혔다.

지난 8월 8일 홍천읍·남면 행정복지센터를 시작으로 진행된 간담회는 9일 두촌·화촌면, 16일 북방·서면, 17일 서석·내면, 18일 영귀미면, 19일 내촌면 순으로 진행됐다.

간담회에서는 남면 지방도 494호선 확포장 공사를 비롯해 내면 외국인 계절 근로자 확대 방안, 서면 팔봉산 관광지 활성화 방안 등 지역 발전을 위한 100여건의 건의사항과 지역 현안사안들이 논의됐으며 공통적으로 제안된 어르신 복지 향상 지원, 마을안길 도로 포장, 하천 정비 공사 등 신속히 해결 가능한 건의사항들은 즉시 사업을 진행할 계획이고, 중장기적인 검토가 필요한 사업들은 충분한 검토를 거쳐 최대한 반영할 방침이다.

신영재 홍천군수는 “읍·면 행정복지센터를 순방하며 생생한 지역의 현안사안들을 마을 주민들에게 직접 들을 수 있었다”며 “앞으로도 소통·신속한 행정을 위해 주민들과 자주 소통하는 군정을 펼쳐 나가기 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
