[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시의회는 2022년 의원연구단체 4개를 구성·운영하고 있으며, 지난 17일 연구단체 최종보고회를 모두 완료했다고 밝혔다. 

각 연구 단체는 최종보고회를 통해 연구결과를 논의하였고, 연구내용·시사점에 관해 토론하는 시간을 가졌다고 했다. 

올해 운영하는 연구 단체는 총 4개 단체로 ▲저출산 해결 방안 연구회(조금석, 오범구, 구구회, 박순자, 김현주, 임호석, 김영숙 의원) ▲아름다운 하천 개발 연구회(김영숙, 오범구, 구구회, 조금석, 박순자, 김현주, 임호석 의원) ▲중도입국청소년 연구회(최정희, 김정겸, 김연균 의원) ▲숲 체험 및 산림 치유 활성화를 위한 연구회(안지찬, 이계옥, 정선희 의원)이라고 했다.

그동안 연구·조사한 정책 현황에 더해 향후 추진 방향의 다양한 의견들을 연구 단체와 논의했다. ▲저출산 해결 방안 연구회에서는 청년을 위한 저출산 정책 추진, 저출산 극복 협의체 구성 등 의정부시가 지원할 수 있는 정책 방안 제시 ▲아름다운 하천 개발 연구회에서는 의정부시 하천의 주변 숲 생태계와 연결방안 모색, 생태학습 서비스 공간 확보 대한 정책 방안 제시 ▲중도입국 청소년 연구회에서는 다문화 가정 내 청소년들의 법적 지위 향상 방안 등을 토론 ▲숲 체험 및 산림 치유 활성화를 위한 연구회에서는 숲놀이에 대한 부모 인식개선 프로그램 개발하였다.

의정부시의회는 이번 연구 결과를 바탕으로 의정부시 특성에 맞는 정책 개선방안과 실효성 있는 조례 제·개정 사항 등을 모색해 나갈 계획이라고 밝혔다.
