올해 2022년 1월 현재 시민들이 충전한 탄탄페이 누적 발행액은 980억 원이며, 이에 따른 인센티브 지급액은 총 97억원에 달하며, 탄탄페이 월평균 충전액은 45억원 이상으로 이러한 추세에 따라 2월 중 탄탄페이 누적 발행금이 1,000억 원을 가뿐하게 돌파할 것으로 예상된다고 했다.

시는 2월 한 달 간 탄탄페이 인센티브 지급 한도액을 기존 50만원에서 100만원으로 상향 조정하며, 인센티브 지급률은 10%로 기존과 동일하며 2월 최대 10만원까지 인센티브를 받을 수 있다고 전했다.

태백시장은 “탄탄페이 발행 1,000억 이라는 의미 있는 성과를 거둘 수 있었던 것은 시민들의 높은 호응과 지역 사랑 덕분 이라며 태백시 자금의 외부유출을 방지하고 지역 경제 활성화에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
