[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 21일 포천시는 푸드플랜안 수립과 친환경 먹거리 통합지원센터 설치 및 운영방안을 위한 ‘푸드플랜 수립 연구용역 최종 보고회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 최종 보고회는 박윤국 포천시장을 비롯해 생산 및 유통·가공 4개분과 민간단체 대표 등 30여명이 참석했으며, 코로나19 확산방지를 위해 민간단체 대표는 온라인으로 참여했다고 전했다.

푸드플랜이란 건강하고 안전한 먹거리의 생산·가공, 유통, 소비, 폐기 및 재활용 등 지역 내 먹거리 순환 체계를 구축하고 지역의 사회·경제·환경적 지속 가능성을 높이는 것을 목표로 하는 ‘포천시 먹거리 종합 수립 정책’으로, 푸드플랜 연구용역의 과업 주요과제는 포천시 현황 및 먹거리 실태 종합진단, 포천시 먹거리 전략 추진 방향 제시, 포천시 푸드 플랜안 수립, 먹거리 통합지원센터 운영방향 등이라고 했다.

이번 최종 보고회에서는 그린먹거리 생산·가공, 근거리유통환경 구축, 보편적 먹거리보장환경, 주체적참여 및 먹거리정책환경 등 4대 전략과 12대 핵심과제, 39개 세부사업 실천과제를 발표했으며, 포천시는 용역결과를 바탕으로 푸드플랜 구축을 위한 조례를 제정하고, 세부 실천과제를 수립하여 먹거리 관련 투융자계획 등을 반영할 계획이라고 했다.

박윤국 포천시장은 “지역 차원의 종합적·체계적 대응전략 및 실행계획으로 포천시 푸드 플랜을 잘 수립해 포천시의 미래를 열어갈 중장기 먹거리 정책에 반영하겠다.”라고 말했다.
