[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 26일 동두천시 중앙동행정복지센터는 노인복지관과 굳건한 협력을 기반으로 공동사례관리를 추진 중이라고 밝혔다.

공동사례관리란 복지사각지대로 발굴되어 생활실태 및 복지욕구 조사를 통해 파악된 다양하고 복잡한 위기 상황을 해소하기 위해 두 곳 이상의 기관이 함께 선정부터 종결까지의 모든 과정을 함께 수행하는 것을 말하며, 무엇보다 중앙동행정복지센터와 노인복지관은 동두천시 최초로 통합사례관리를 민관협력 방법으로 합동 추진함에 따라 지역복지 발전에 기여함과 동시에 새로운 비전을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다고 했다.

이춘우 중앙동장은 “복지위기에 놓여 있는 주민의 어려움을 노인복지관과 상시적으로 소통하여 해결방안을 찾고, 타 기관과의 업무 협약을 추진하는 등 중앙동만의 차별화된 시스템을 구축해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
