[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 남도 꽃정원 농특산물 직거래 판매장에 참여한 농가들이 모여 판매 금액 일부를 가평군 교육발전을 위해 장학금 6,514,250원을 가평군에 전달했다고 밝혔다. 

지난 5월 22일부터 6월 22일까지 진행한 자라섬 남도 봄 꽃정원 개방 기간 동안 관광객에게 다양한 볼거리를 제공하고 관내 농산물 홍보, 농가소득 보전 등을 위하여 남도 꽃정원 농특산물 직거래 판매장을 운영했다고 했다.

가평군 관계자는 “봄 꽃정원 개방 직거래 판매장 운영을 통해 우리 농특산물 소비를 활성화하고 농가 소득보전 및 농특산물 이미지 제고에 기여하였으며, 앞으로 자라섬 꽃정원 등을 통하여, 우리 농특산물 활성화에 기여하도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
