[김준호 기자 = 평창군] 평창군은 최근 사회문제로 다시 떠오른 위기 가구를 위해  취약계층 아동의 돌봄 사각지대에 대한 각별한 주의와 면밀한 점검을 위해 나선다.

9월 한 달간 사례관리 대상 아동의 가정을 직접 방문해 집중 모니터링을 실시하며, 드림스타트 92가구 142명과 사례관리 종결 대상인 20가구 30명이 모니터링 대상이다.

사례관리 아동 및 가족에 대한 가정방문을 통해 양육환경과 안전 등을 집중적으로 점검하고, 아동의 건강한 성장발달을 지원하기 위한 영양제와 가족들을 위한 구충제도 전달한다. 

아울러 집중 모니터링 종료 후 점검 결과를 토대로 추가 지원이 필요한 아동 가구에 대해 긴급 지원 연계, 돌봄서비스 신청 등의 조치를 할 예정이며, 모니터링 기간에 유관기관과 협력하여 기존 드림스타트 지원 대상자 외의 사례관리가 필요한 아동들을 적극적으로 발굴할 계획이다.

김두기 가족복지과장은 “복지 사각지대 최소화를 위해서는 군민들의 도움이 절실한 만큼, 서로 이웃들에게 관심을 가지고 위기 아동 발견 시 군청이나 읍·면사무소로 연락 바란다.”고 전했다.
